Abstract


Anthropocentrism is an philosophical viewpoint arguing that human beings are the central or most significant entities in the world. This is a basic regards humans as separate from and superior to nature or holds that human life has intrinsic value while other entities that may justifiably be exploited for the benefit of humankind, likely Confucius has established of Eastern work ethics such as China, Japan, Korea, Hong- Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. In the result, at the moment, Confucius is recognized as one of the universal heroes in the development of Human Resources, especially in Eastern human development through the concept of work ethics. Based on his figure as a world hero, this study focused on the significant of Confucian work ethic in the development of the work culture in eastern world and the basic resilience of this notion in the work culture development. While the purpose of this study is to explains the Confucius as a hero in the dimensions of work ethics and also describe  his vision in changing the eastern world with the global competitiveness. Finally, the descriptive analytic method is used to describe and analyze the Confucius heroism and his doctrine in the Confucian work ethic.
