Abstract


Evaluation of curriculum being used becomes urgent to be done so that the curriculum stays up to date with great awareness of knowledge development in one side and the need of professional working force in another side. This research is aimed to investigate the evaluation process of curriculum in English Education Program of Jenderal Soedirman University by using backward design method. The method being used was case study because the researcher was interested to observe the process of evaluation of curriculum. The data were collected by using observation, interview and document analysis relating to the process of curriculum evaluation. The research showed that evaluation process of curriculum by using Backward Design Method results better curriculum model to be applied for five years cycle in English Education Program of Jenderal Soedirman University.
