Abstract


Background. Safe behavior is important for every informal sector worker. Safety behavior for workers at work can prevent work fatigue and work accidents. If safety behavior is not applied in the workplace, it can have an impact on decreasing work performance and productivity. Empowerment of brick-making workers in safety behavior training is important so that workers can work well, safely and comfortably. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the empowerment of brick-making workers in the application of Safety behavior in Sokaraja District. Research methods. The research design is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population is brick-making workers in Sokaraja District, totaling 96 people. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample size of 96 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire and a check list sheet. Data analysis used chi-square test with 95% confidence degree.
