Noris Community Perception of the Importance of Cycling Activities

Abstract


The Noris Community is a special folding bicycle community that is part of the Banyumas Bicycle Community. Its formation started from some activists who had hobbies first and there were also because of the rampant cycling trend during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the noris bicycle community perceives the importance of cycling activities. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, while data collection is carried out in the Noris community. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The validity of the data was tested by using the data triangulation technique. Analysis of the data using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman. From the data obtained, 80% of community members have worked, while 20% are in the student and college age category. By gender, 70% male, 30% female. The conclusion is that the perception of the Norse community on the importance of cycling activities is: 1) Intentions cycling to be healthy, so that it can support worship, 2) Can do various good deeds that are useful, 3) Prioritize the function of cycling, not just prestige and accessories brands, 4) . Cycling is important to do but not something that must be done first, 5). Not excessive in cycling activities, 6) Cycling by prioritizing order and comfort for both yourself and other users.
