Utilization of WTMST (The Work Task Motivation Scale for Teacher) to Find Out Self-Efficacy Relationships and Teacher Teaching Motivation to Physical Education Teacher Performance in Junior High School

Abstract


This study aimed to find out the relationship of self-efficacy and motivation of teaching teachers to the performance of teachers in junior high school. This research is quantitative research using survey research using questionnaire methods with measuring instruments in scales. Researchers used WTMST (The Work Task Motivation Scale for Teachers). The data source comes from the principal and PJOK teacher. The sampling technique used by researchers is Purposive Random Sampling which means random sampling with certain considerations. The data, obtained from questionnaires and observations, was then analyzed using SPSS 23 Windows. The results of this study have a self-efficacy related to the performance of physical education teachers in junior high school with sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05) and a calculated r-value of 0.708. There is a relationship of teaching motivation to the performance of physical education teachers with sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05) and a calculated r-value of 0.743. (3) There is a relationship between self-efficacy and teaching motivation to the performance of educational teachers with sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (0.05) and a calculated r-value of 0.757.
