THE TECHNOLOGICAL PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (TPACK) ANALYSIS IN IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE LEARNING METHODS IN THE COVID-19 ERA

Abstract


Background: Online learning is a learning method by utilizing ICT media to support the learning process. TPACK is knowledge and skills in integrating technology into learning. The teacher's skill in using learning methods is as a perspective of the experience of students after using or feeling a method used.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out how the technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) skills possessed by teachers during the covid-19 pandemic.

Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. This research was carried out in public high schools throughout the Banyumas Residency. Using a sample of 121 teachers with proportionate starfied random sampling technique, data analysis by describing based on the data that has been collected.

Results: All components of TPACK in the implementation of online learning methods at State Senior High Schools throughout the Banyumas Residency can be said to be good in several components. The Technological Knowledge component obtained an index value of 79.81%, Pedagogical Knowledge obtained an index value of 80.12%, Content Knowledge obtained an index value of 81.21%, Technological Content Knowledge obtained an index value of 82.88%, Pedagogical Content Knowledge obtained an index value of 78, 69%, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge obtained an index value of 81.63%.

Conclusion: (1) The implementation of online learning methods at SMA Negeri in the Residency of Banyumas shows a good category for each component, (2) The lowest percentage value is in the Pedagogical Content Knowledge component with an index value of 78.69%, (3) The highest percentage value is in the Technological Content component. Knowledge with an index value of 82.88%.
