Abstract

Rice plants still dominate the basic needs of the Indonesian people, so it is necessary to increase production at any time. Efforts to increase production are carried out using the SRI method combined with jajar legowo type 2:1 because this method can increase rice production. The research was conducted on community rice fields in Pasar Ambacang, Kuranji District, Padang City, West Sumatra from February until June 2020. The aim of the study was to obtain the interaction between the types of jajar legowo and the right dose of kiserite for the growth and yield of lowland rice plants. The design used is a factorial 2 factors in a completely randomized design, where the first factor is the type of jajar legowo 2:1 consisting of 2 levels (type A and type B) and the second factor is the dose of kiserite consisting of 3 levels (0, 150, 300 kg/ha) with 4 replication. The variables that were observed were growth and yield components. From the results of the research, it was found that the interaction was in the observation of panicle length, where for jajar legowo 2:1 type A at a dose of kiserite 150kg/ha with a panicle length of 27.20cm, while for type B at a dose of kiserite 300kg/ha with a panicle length of 27.88cm . Jajar legowo 2:1 type B is better to use with the addition of a dose of 300 kg/ha of kiserite
